Biography

Dr. Marinus Winters is a Dutch sports physical therapist who obtained his PhD degree on the diagnosis, treatment, and outcome assessment of medial tibial stress syndrome, back in 2017. Ever since, he specializes in treating clients with pain in the lower extremity.

Marinus received his Bachelor in Physical Therapy in 2010. Besides a PhD, he holds a MSc degree in Clinical Epidemiology and a MSc degree in Manual Therapy.

He published extensively on musculoskeletal pain conditions, particularly on the topic of exercise-induced lower leg pain.
