Scott Rickard

Scott obtained a BSc in Physiotherapy from Stellenbosch University in South Africa, then led a busy practice in Johannesburg before moving abroad in 2005. He joined the teaching team at the University of Hertfordshire in the UK where he rose to the position of Professional Lead for the Physiotherapy division. After obtaining his master's degree from the same university in 2012, Scott and his family moved to George where he joined Integrated Physiotherapy as an associate. Scott continues to teach a wide range of health professionals on topics related to Diagnostic Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and Chronic Pain. Scott is passionate about helping patients understand their symptoms and regain a higher level of function and self-efficacy. Scott enjoys exploring the trails in and around George and participates in a few marathons each year. He is also a dedicated Ironman triathlete, but his number one passion remains spending time outdoors with his wife and three daughters.
