Sebastiano Nutarelli

Sebastiano is a sports physiotherapist, biomechanist, and clinical researcher specializing in the surgical and non-surgical rehabilitation of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). His ongoing doctoral thesis focuses on the rehabilitation of the ACL after surgical reconstruction. Additionally, he specializes in the treatment of knee stiffness and related injuries to the knee and lower limbs. He has trained in Switzerland (bachelor's and postgraduate certifications), Italy (master's), the United Kingdom (postgraduate certification), Ireland (PhD), and the United States (several clinical experiences during his undergraduate studies at renowned sports medicine centers). His academic teaching assignments have covered lower limb kinesiology, evidence-based physical therapy, knee rehabilitation, and biomechanics. Since 2024, he has been appointed coordinator of the master's program in clinical and sports biomechanics at the Università di Camerino, Italy. He regularly publishes scientific articles, presents at conferences, and teaches courses in several countries. In Switzerland, he works as a physiotherapist for professional athletes and recreational athletes at the sports rehab clinics he co-founded in 2018.
