Description
Stand on a step or box with a guided barbell resting on your shoulders. Begin by rising onto the tips of both feet. Once at the top position, shift your weight onto the working leg, then slowly lower your heel below the level of the step while controlling the movement. Keep your leg straight and the front of your foot firmly on the step. At the bottom, use the other leg to help yourself back up and repeat. The goal is to slow down the descent as much as possible with each repetition.
