Diver With Hallux Control

Description
Wedge one end of an elastic band under the base of your first metatarsal of the leg to be worked. Grasp the other end with the hand of the opposite arm. Then, lift the other leg. Make sure your spine remains neutral. Bend forward at the hip while stretching the arm holding the elastic band forward, simultaneously pushing the free leg backward as far as possible, ensuring to keep the pelvis horizontal and level. Keep the knee of the supporting leg slightly bent, about 10 to 20 degrees, and the free leg straight. Perform this exercise slowly at the beginning to better control the movement. The objective is to keep the end of the elastic band under the inner forefoot on the ground.
