Description

Attach a band to a stable object on the side. Place the part of the band under the first metatarsal (the base of the big toe) of the foot that is furthest from the band's anchor point. Hold a weight in your hands and lift the foot that is not under the band. Lean forward by bending at the hip while keeping your back straight. Lower the weight towards the ground. Ensure that the knee remains aligned with the hip and the foot, and that both sides of the pelvis as well as the lower back remain parallel to the ground during the forward bend. Straighten up by lifting the weight above your head and rising onto the toes of the foot. Repeat this movement.
