Test protocol

The Silfverskiöld Test is commonly used to identify and isolate gastrocnemius contractures (Symeonidis et al., 2014). Gastrocnemius contracture has been associated with several foot and ankle conditions, including plantar fasciopathy or metatarsalgia (Maskill et al., 2010; Morales-Muñoz et al., 2016; Cortina et al., 2018).
