Description
Stand with your feet hip-width apart, which is about the width of two closed fists between your big toes and your heels. Distribute your weight evenly between the front, back, inner and outer edges of your feet, then lengthen your spine by reaching the crown of your head up toward the sky. Let your arms rest alongside your body, palms facing forward and little fingers pointing toward the floor, and gaze forward and slightly down. Look for a stable, grounded posture without stiffness. Hold this position with deep, calm breathing for the duration indicated by your physical therapist, then release.
