Description

Stand up, step your feet apart, and turn your front foot forward, with the back foot slightly turned out. Bend the front knee, keeping it tracking in the direction of the toes, then place your hand on a block positioned next to the front foot. Keep the front knee pointing in the direction of the toes, the back leg active and the pelvis open, and lengthen your torso to the side. Extend the top arm toward the sky or in line with your body, rotating the shoulder externally. Maintain a calm breath, aiming for a stable, continuous line from the back foot to the crown of the head, then come back up and repeat on the other side.
