Description

Get down on all fours, supporting yourself on your fingertips under your shoulders, with your knees under your hips. As you exhale, round your back from the tailbone to the head, as if a string were pulling your spine up toward the ceiling, drawing the pelvis in and gazing toward your navel (cat position). As you inhale, let your sternum open forward and your tailbone gently rise toward the sky to create a slight arch in your spine (camel position). Flow through the repetitions smoothly and with control. This fingertips variation engages the forearms more and relieves pressure on the wrists.
