Description
Lie on the floor with one leg bent, the knee at 90°, and the other leg relaxed on the floor. Place one hand under your lower back for support and extend the other arm above your head. Focus on the rotation of the thoracic spine, imagining that your head and neck form a rigid block with your thoracic spine, with no movement in the cervical region, whether the chin moves forward or retracts. The goal is to engage the rectus abdominis and the obliques without inducing any movement of the spine. Once this contraction is achieved, perform small, rapid movements with the arm and hip extended, making sure that these movements occur at the hip and shoulder joints, and not in the stabilized spine.
