Description

From the quadruped position, with your hands under your shoulders and your knees under your hips, press your palms firmly into the floor. Push through your hands to lift your knees off the floor and bring your pelvis back and up, keeping your heels raised and bending your knees as much as needed to keep your back long and your spine lengthened. Distribute your weight evenly between your hands and feet, keep your arms engaged and your shoulders away from your ears, and relax your neck, looking toward your feet or knees. Keep your breathing calm, aiming for overall lengthening of the body rather than tension in the legs.
