Description

Stand upright with your legs spread very wide and your hands crossed over your chest. Shift your weight to one side while keeping the kneecap of the bent knee aligned with the second toe. Lean your torso forward while maintaining a neutral back position. Keeping the same knee flexion, straighten up in this position so you are looking forward and hold the position for the time indicated by your physical therapist. Then return to the center by pushing through your heels. Repeat the movement on the other side.
