Description

Lie on your side on a lower back bench inclined at 45 degrees. Place your feet under the pads to secure them firmly. Position the support just above the hip bone (iliac crest). Keeping your back straight, perform a side bend slowly lowering your torso towards the ground. Slowly return to the starting position by contracting the muscles on your side. Keep your back straight throughout the movement. Control the movement; do not let gravity pull you down too quickly. Breathe normally during the exercise. Perform the number of repetitions recommended by your physical therapist.
