Description
From Warrior Pose, keep a stable base in your legs, then, as you inhale, lean your torso back, letting your front arm rise overhead. Let your back hand slide down your thigh or rest lightly on it without leaning on it. Keep your front knee bent and tracking in the direction of your toes, your back leg engaged and firmly planted, and keep your pelvis open to the side without letting it tip backward. Create space in the side of your body on the front side without compressing your lower back, keep your shoulders down and your neck long, and direct your gaze toward your top hand or keep it neutral, depending on what is comfortable for your neck. Keep your breathing calm, staying stable on your supports and letting your body open gradually, then return to the starting position and repeat on the other side.
