Description

Stand up, step your feet apart, and point your front foot forward, with your back foot slightly turned out. Bend your front knee, keeping it tracking in the direction of your toes, then rest your forearm on your front thigh. Keep your back leg engaged and firmly planted, your pelvis open to the side, and lengthen your torso over your thigh without collapsing. Reach your top arm overhead or leave it on your hip if that is too difficult, and keep your neck long and your gaze relaxed. Keep your breathing calm, aiming for stability and lateral opening, then return to the starting position and repeat on the other side.
