Description
Lie down on an inclined plane of about 60 degrees, arching your chest and bringing your shoulder blades down and back. Join your hands in front of you. Lift your straight arms to the height recommended by your physical therapist. The arm on the uninjured side helps the one that has more difficulty. Once you have reached the desired height, lower your arms until they form a 90-degree angle with your torso. The hand on the non-injured side then releases the arm on the injured side. Maintain the position of the extended arm for the amount of time indicated by your physical therapist, then join your hands again to return to the initial position. Repeat.
