Description
Sit on the floor with your knees bent, feet flat, and hands on your knees. As you breathe out, slowly arch your lower back and tilt it backwards (hips roll back), leaning backwards until you find your balance on your sitting bones without shifting your feet. Once you’ve found your balance, lift your feet off the floor, then slowly roll your spine down onto the floor. Then slowly come back up in the opposite direction, using your core engagement and the connection between your upper and lower limbs, until you return to the starting position. Perform the movement slowly and in a controlled way, keeping your core engaged.
