Description

Place one knee on a stable surface, such as a chair, bench, or stool, then lean your upper body forward until it is almost parallel to the floor. Hold a weight in your opposite hand and lift your arm out to the side until it is horizontal. As you do this, gradually rotate your hand so that your thumb is pointing upward at the end of the movement. Lower your arm slowly, then repeat the exercise, keeping your back stable throughout the movement.
