Description

Stand with your feet hip-width apart and hold a weighted bar on your shoulders. Step directly backward with one of your legs. While maintaining balance with both feet, bend the knee of your front leg to lower the knee of your back leg towards the floor. Make sure the knee of your front leg forms a 90-degree angle while the knee of your back leg is about 5 cm from the floor. Then, push into the ground with your back leg and straighten the knee of your front leg, bringing the back leg bent at 90 degrees forward, with the thigh parallel to the ground. Hold this position for a moment, then return to the backward lunge and repeat the movement.
