Description

Stand with your back against the wall. Bring your arm out to the side at shoulder height (90° abduction) with your forearm pointing down. Your elbow is bent at a right angle. If your position allows, place your fist or palm against the wall. Push against the wall as if you wanted to go through it, without creating any movement. Hold the contraction for the time recommended by your physical therapist, then relax before starting again.
