Flexion With Small Fist Traction & Overpressure

Description
Place your thumb, index, and middle fingers tightly in a small fist just under your chin, with your ring and pinky fingers extended in the air. This position will slightly block the flexion movement of your neck. Then, flex your neck by lowering your head until your fingers touch your chest. If you do not feel any symptoms at this stage, use your other hand to hold the back of your head and gently pull to apply a slight traction. If all is well, maintain this cervical flexion position with the additional overpressure for as long as your physical therapist has instructed you.
