Description

Place one foot on a chair in front of you, with the knee bent and toes pointing forward. Both hands rest on the front knee to maintain balance. Make sure the leg supporting the weight on the ground is positioned 2 to 3 feet from the chair. Keep the torso straight, bend the knee of the leg on the floor, and push the hips forward while keeping the heel of the back leg on the floor until you feel a comfortable stretch. Then, perform a heel raise of the back leg while maintaining the knee flexion. Hold the position for the indicated duration, then return to the starting position.
