Description
From the quadruped position, move your knees back behind your hips, then straighten your legs to come into a high plank, with your shoulders directly above your hands. Keep your back slightly rounded and your spine lengthened from your heels to your head, keeping your core braced. Push through your hands to draw your sternum into your rib cage and move your shoulders away from your ears, and direct your gaze toward the floor. Hold this position while breathing calmly for the duration indicated by your physical therapist.
