Description

Lie down on the floor on your side. Bring your lower arm out in front of you at 90° of flexion, with the elbow bent to 90°, and hold a weight that is heavy enough that you cannot lift it. Try to perform an external rotation of the shoulder, as if you were going to lift the weight, but without actually managing to do so. Hold the contraction for the time recommended by your physical therapist, then relax before starting again.
