Description
Stand up, take a big step back and lift your back knee off the floor. Bend your front knee, keeping it tracking in line with your toes, bring your torso forward, then rotate your chest toward the side opposite the front leg, placing the opposite hand on the floor. Keep your pelvis as stable as possible during the rotation, your back leg active and extended, and reach the top arm up toward the sky as high as your range of motion allows. Keep the back of your neck long and your gaze toward the floor, to the side, or upward, depending on what feels comfortable for your neck. Maintain a calm breath while seeking both stability, spinal mobility, and control, then return to the starting position and repeat on the other side.
