Description

Lie on your back, raise one arm toward the ceiling while holding a weight (such as a kettlebell or dumbbell), and keep the other arm alongside your body. Keeping the arm holding the weight stable and vertical throughout the movement, begin to gradually sit up: move through the sitting position, then stand up completely, keeping your arm extended above your head. Keep your gaze directed toward the weight to promote alignment and shoulder stability. Once standing, control the descent by slowly returning to the starting position, performing the steps in reverse order.
