Description
Lie on your side with your hips and knees slightly bent, using a pillow to support your head and neck. Align your arms directly in front of your shoulders. The upper arm will perform the exercise. To begin, rotate your hand and arm upward toward the ceiling, keeping the elbow straight. Then, raise your arm until it is pointing directly at the ceiling. Lower it slowly and repeat. Perform the exercise on both sides. You can increase the difficulty by using a dumbbell or elastic band once the weight of your arm is no longer sufficient.
