Description
You are standing with the front of the foot to be worked resting on a slightly elevated surface like a weight, while the heel is on the ground and the other foot is in the air. Your body weight is placed backwards, at the heel, so that the foot is in a dorsiflexion position, which may cause a sensation of calf stretching. You will perform an ankle extension by rising onto the tip of your toes and then slowly return to the starting position.
