Description

Attach a band to the side and place the end around the knee opposite to the attachment point. Stand on a step perpendicular to the attachment point of the band. Lift the leg closest to the attachment point. Keeping your spine neutral, bend forward at the hip while reaching towards the ground with your hand and simultaneously extending the free leg backward as far as possible while keeping the pelvis horizontal and level. Keep the knee of the supporting leg bent at 10 to 20 degrees and make sure it does not roll inward. Straighten up, pass the free leg over the elastic band, and bring the heel toward the ground by bending the supporting leg on the step without turning the knee inward. Perform this exercise slowly at the start.
