Description

Start with your hand placed near the opposite hip, as if you were grabbing a sword from its sheath: the wrist is flexed, the elbow bent, and the fingers closed. From this position, gradually open your hand and bring the arm diagonally upward, as if holding a tray, with the wrist in extension and the shoulder rotated outward. Then return to the starting position, guiding the movement first with the hand and wrist, then letting the rest of the arm follow. Repeat according to your therapist's instructions.
