Description
From Lizard Pose, with your hands pressing into the floor and your front foot placed outside your hand, lift the back knee off the ground by straightening the leg, and press the back heel backward to create length. Keep the hips low and stable without collapsing into the lower back, and keep the front foot firmly grounded, with the knee aligned with the toes. Keep the arms active, the shoulders low and away from the ears, the back of the neck long, and your gaze toward the floor or slightly forward. Maintain a calm breath as you work on opening the hips while keeping control and stability, then come back and repeat on the other side.
