Description

Stand upright, take a large step backward, and point your front foot forward, with your back foot slightly turned out. Keep both legs engaged, with the front knee fully extended, and tilt your pelvis forward. Hold your hands in front of your chest, then lean your torso over the front leg while maintaining length in your spine. Look straight ahead to keep your neck aligned, keep your front foot firmly planted, and keep your knee pointing toward your toes. Breathe calmly while seeking both stability and stretching of the posterior chain, then return to the starting position and repeat on the other side.
