Description

Stand upright, feet together, and hands at your sides. Take a big step to the side to perform a lateral lunge. Absorb the descent by bending the knee of the stepping leg, keeping the kneecap aligned with the second toe and maintaining a slight arch in your back (hips and glutes pushed backward). During the movement, bring both hands together in front of you. Push back up to standing by pressing through the heel of the bent leg. Repeat on the other side if required, alternating legs.
