Description
Stand at the bottom of a staircase and, if necessary, place one hand on the railing for stability. Climb slowly, one step at a time, taking care to control your movement with each step. Always use the same leg to initiate the climb on each step. Take your time with each step, making sure your feet are firmly planted on the step before moving on to the next one. Repeat the movement until you reach the top of the stairs or the number of steps indicated.
