Description
The patient is in a supine position on the table with one leg bent. The physical therapist positions themselves behind the patient, placing one hand at the back of the heel and a counter-support at the level of the sacrum. The physical therapist performs an extension of the leg, which the patient attempts to resist by braking the descent. Once the foot touches the table, the patient completely relaxes while the physical therapist passively returns the leg to the initial position. The movement is repeated 10 to 12 times in 3 sets with approximately 30 seconds of recovery between each set.
