Description

Stand either on the floor or on a staircase step, with your hands resting on a stable support to maintain your balance. Keep the knee of the leg to be worked bent throughout the exercise. Start by rising onto the ball of the foot of the uninjured leg, then transfer your weight to the ball of the foot of the leg to be worked on, staying high. Slowly return to this leg, keeping the knee bent. Once back down, return to the tiptoe of the healthy leg and repeat the movement, switching stages as you go. Make sure you control each step to maximize the exercise's effectiveness.
