Description
Stand barefoot with a piece of paper under the last phalanx of your big toe and another under the bony prominence at the base of your big toe (the metatarsus). Try to press your metatarsus firmly onto the ground without putting any force through your big toe. A third person will then attempt to remove the pieces of paper one by one. If the exercise is correctly executed, the paper under the metatarsus will remain in place while the one under the last phalanx of the big toe can be removed.
