Description

From the half-kneeling position, move your back knee slightly backward so that it sits behind your hip, and plant your front foot firmly on the floor. Let your pelvis gradually sink toward the floor without forcing, then reach your arms up and back, following with an extension of the spine. Open your chest without compressing your lower back by directing your tailbone toward the floor, and keep your neck long and your gaze forward or slightly upward. Keep your breathing calm, feeling the opening at the front of the back hip without losing stability, then slowly return to the starting position and repeat on the other side.
