Description
Stand on both legs, then shift your weight onto a single leg. Lower yourself by bending the knee of the supporting leg, without lifting your heel off the ground, to the range indicated by your therapist or as low as possible in a controlled manner. Then place the other foot on the ground to help you come back up on both legs. Repeat the movement by lowering on one leg and coming back up on both.
