Description

Wrap a heavy resistance band around a bar or post at knee height and slide the loops just behind your knees. Step back so that the bands exert strong tension on your legs. The feet should be flat on the ground and the pressure should be evenly distributed across the entire surface of the foot. The exercise begins by moving the hips back into a squat position, keeping the torso upright. The shins should be vertical when the hips move back. Once the thighs are parallel to the ground and the spine is neutral, squeeze the quadriceps by pressing on the ground to lift yourself back up. Repeat the position.
