Description

Stand up, feet shoulder-width apart. Place the foot on the side you want to stretch slightly in front of the other on an elevated surface. Keeping your back relatively flat, spine neutral, and feet in a neutral position, bend at the hips and try to touch your toes. Slowly return to the starting position and repeat. You should feel a stretch behind your thigh and knee. You may also feel a tightening sensation higher up at the back of your thigh, down to your calf and foot. If the stretch is too intense, you can point your foot downward.
